Curious what staying at Dolphin Quest is like? Check out what our amazing guests have to say about us!
“Dolphin Quest was one of the most memorable parts of my trip to Costa Rica. The hospitality from Reymar, Jahza and the rest of the staff was incredible. The breakfast and dinner we had was all farm to table with lots of TLC which not only tasted incredible but made me feel energized with clean energy. I couldn’t recommend a stay at dolphin quest more. It’s very apparent how much time and attention they have put into crafting this wonderful experience. Looking forward to making another trip back. Pura Vida”

“I had a magical stay at Dolphin Quest Costa Rica with my partner and two friends. The location is one of the most wild and nature filled places that I have ever visited. We saw many parrots, macaws, morpho butterflies, colorful lizards, and of course Dolphins. We did the bioluminescence boat tour and it was truly one of the top 3 coolest experiences of my life. We were able to see dolphins, fish, and stingrays illuminated by the bioluminescence. This place is the real deal in terms of promoting sustainable ecotourism - the brothers who own the place are incredibly knowledgeable and have such respect for nature. The customer service is also wonderful and they patiently answered all my questions. If you want a truly special experience, book this place!”

“Nature – Adventure – Ocean&Jungle life – Relaxation – Organic & tasty food – Disconnection – Wild animals – Eco-friendly; If you recognize yourself into some of those words or if you are looking for that, this immersive adventure is definitely waiting for you! Exceeding all expectations, I had the most incredible time at Dolphin Quest! Unforgettable and one of the best experiences of my life. The boat trip to go there is already a sensational ride and plunges you in a unique ambiance… if you are lucky you would meet the majestic dolphins even before touching the ground of this paradisiac place. Located in the middle of Piedras Blancas National Park, between wild jungle and warm ocean, this is a privileged spot in Costa Rica where you can have the luck to observe stunning and preserved marine and terrestrial fauna and flora (be awakened by Howlers’ monkeys and Aras every morning is priceless). I stayed at the “big house”, at the very edge of the jungle. Mosquito nets are provided. The owners of the place know the jungle so well as their home and are very knowledgeable guides. They are doing everything in their power to make your stay memorable. They are always very enthusiastic and excited to make you discover the precious environment they are living in through different activities: jungle trails, kayaking, fishing, snorkeling, whales/dolphins tours, botanical tour… This eco-lodge is trying to be environmental-friendly as much as possible, in communion with nature. Fresh and natural healthy food -a real energy booster- is served every day, coming directly from the ocean or their organic gardens. I had a really great time tasting and learning about amazing fruits, vegetables and leaves that I had never seen or heard of before. A little pool with hot water just has been constructed for the healing center part, which is run by a fantastic French woman. She is performing relaxing massages so well! It's finally the perfect combination of such an amazing property and environment with the incredible people who are running it which makes this place so unique and special. I highly encourage people to visit this place!”

“I am a world traveler and I will find a way back to this family that became part of mine in just a few hours. Love is a part of their way I was greeted. Find a way to visit and join this family run by the sons of the original owner who sadly passed a year ago. His memory lives on through how they work and play with you. They will show you how to live off the land, fill you belly’s with AWSOME food and your soul with Tico love or as they say here in Costa Rica Pura Vida.”

“As a girl, I read the book The Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O’Dell. With my husband and three children in tow, I had the experience of a lifetime meeting a real life Karana named Amy Khoo, who journeyed to Costa Rica to raise her two young boys- birthing one in the sea- teaching them to swim, hunt, and play in their wild backyard of jungle, beach, and ocean. I loved hearing her stories of life on their ancient shores, while we spotted dolphins that swam alongside our boat, snorkeled together in the waters of Golfo Dulce, and enjoyed an exotic lunch as a family. While we savored the fresh, delicious food, Amy carefully watched our adventuresome 17 month old girl, running about the porch where she raised her children. The ride to and from from Pavones was a breeze with fresh young coconuts and bananas packed— our kids were happy and full. While my three year old was more cautious about getting the in water for some swimming, my 6 year old eventually jumped in and absolutely loved floating and swimming. My husband and I took turns snorkeling and watching kids, and even had the amazing opportunity to snorkel together for a time while Amy watched our three kids aboard the boat! Wow. The boat captain was so wonderful and patient with our kids as well! Amy’s sons and their chefs handled every detail to make our lunch spectacular. This was easily one of the best days of my life after our wedding day. What a unique opportunity to boat, enjoy wildlife up close and first-hand, and savor freshly-prepared exotic foods with the most kind-hearted and generous hosts! We hope to return and enjoy a longer stay with Reymar and Jahza, and family. Blessings and love from our family to yours.”

“Dolphin Quest Costa Rica provided me with the most scintillating, unique and magical experiences of my life. When I think of adventure in paradise, this place is the perfect image of that. I would recommend Dolphin Quest to anyone wanting to get away, relax and/or experience the truly incredible wonders of nature that Costa Rica provides. All the staff and locals are so friendly and gave me the sense of feeling safe and well informed about my surroundings. 10/10 would recommend.”

“We just completed three days at Dolphin Quest and wish it had been longer. We have traveled at least five times here in Costa Rica, three times in the Osa peninsula area, and recommend Dolphin Quest as a peak experience… they have to be the best and truest Eco Lodge on Golfo Dulce! We stayed at the Green House, just two of us, and loved the privacy. From what we could tell, all the housing options offered enough privacy, none of them too close together. The best part of our time there was not just the creative food produced from many local ingredients, many we had never heard of before so very unique, but also the warm authentically inviting staff. Not only did they work hard taking care of the place and preparing meals, but they spent meal time with us and felt truly interested in sharing time and conversation, not just superficially social. We could taste the love they put into the food ♥️ They are led by the two brothers Reymar and Jahza, whose presence and vision for caring for the land, the Golfo and their guests impressed us. They are very special men and good leaders. I’d trust them with my life. Two highlights of our visit were a morning forest hike up to the waterfall led by Reymar and the dolphin trip he led the next morning. These guys grew up here, coming from a family that has loved this area a long time, and they continue to show the same caring, knowledge, and skill through all our contact with them. Can’t speak highly enough about them. We were treated so well. We will return!”
