+ Accommodations
The sleeping spaces and bathrooms are shared in our 3-story Jungle House . Private sleeping spaces in other bungalows are available upon request when booking. Electrical outlets and solar powered electricity are available in all accommodations. Wifi is only available in the Communal Kitchen area and deck.
Voltage is 110. US guests will not need a converter or adapter. All meals include as many farm-to-table ingredients as possible. Free coffee and teas located in the Kitchen area. Since our location is very rural, guests may want to buy their favorite snacks and beverages while they are in Golfito.

+ How to get here from San Jose
Dolphin Quest is located at a 20 minute boat ride from the port town of Golfito, you can get to Golfito via domestic flight, bus or van. We wil provide boat transportation from Golfito to Dolphin Quest and back, please note the time schedule for our boats when planning your trip to and from Golfito.
By plane:
From the Domestic Terminal adjacent to San Jose Airport (SJO), take a Sansa Air flight to Golfito Airport. This 45 min flight will cost approximately $150. A brief taxi ride from the airport into town will cost you approximately $5 USD. Ask the driver to drop off at the Muellecito (little dock).
By Bus:
Go to the Tracopa Bus terminal in San Jose (we suggest Uber or local taxi $15-$35) and take either the 6:30am, 7am or 3:30pm bus to Golfito. This 7 hour bus ride will cost approximately $18 USD. The bus will drop you off in downtown Golfito. Continue walking until reaching the Muellecito and Tourist Information Center.
By Van:
If participants coordinate amongst themselves to arrive at similar times into SJO then a shuttle van can be coordinated to bring you all down together. This ride will take approximately 5 hours depending on how many sightseeing stops are made. This option has a total cost of $400 and a maximum capacity of 9 people.
