Sweeter by Nature is an inspiring collaboration between Surf & Ko and the NGO Osa Ecology. It creates a retreat that celebrates movement on water and land while dedicated to supporting local marine and cultural conservation initiatives.
This is an all-inclusive retreat—excluding flights and transfers to Golfito—that offers a balanced program of 50% water activities and 50% land experiences. The main goal of the retreat in Golfito is to support environmental conservation projects through donations and volunteer work, which may include efforts for sea turtles, coral restoration, mangrove rehabilitation, and wildlife refuges.

ITINERARY:
June 14: Arrive to Golifto and take a boat to Dolphin Quest Jungle Lodge. Welcome dinner and orientation.
June 15: Boat cruise along the Golfo Dulce. Snorkle to explore the coral restoration project, dolphin watching. Sunset session (kayaking, or SUP).
June 16: Hike inside of Piedras Blancas National Park from Dolphin Quest to Golfito.
June 17: Hands-on Marine Coral Restoration or Mangrove Reforestation. After lunch, head over to Pavones.
June 18: First surfing lesson with Coco and first pre-historic pottery session.
June 19: Second surfing lesson with Coco and pre-historic pottery session. Little hike to Indigenous town to experience their culture and enjoy traditional chicha drink.
June 20: Last pottery session. Bonfire moment. Bean to Bar Chocolate workshop. Cacao drink and Sound Bath.
